Working with Sam Charrington Design, Jessine was tasked with created a watercolour vignette representing a British landscape with subtle hints of Venice and Oxford. English playwright Alan Bennett wrote the play which is centred on a fictional meeting between W. H. Auden and Benjamin Britten while Britten is composing the opera 'Death in Venice', so Jessine's work was to suggest friendship and nostalgic yearning and with a feeling of connection between the painting and the photographs of the characters. The final poster art is used for national marketing and press for the theater production’s national tour.
