Illustrating the Science Of Beauty

Montana undertook a remarkable project illustrating the 'Science of Beauty' book by Dr Michelle Wong, a chemistry PhD, science educator, and cosmetic chemist based in Sydney, Australia.

The venture, published by DK (London) Penguin Random House in June 2024, combined beauty elements with the science underpinning them. Working closely with Senior Designer Sarah Snelling and Dr Wong, Montana navigated the task of creating numerous illustrations within a tight timeframe. The project required detailed technical and medical illustrations, pushing Montana's skills to new heights, while also allowing for creative freedom on the beauty illustrations.

The collaborative effort resulted in a book that Montana is incredibly proud of, marking it as one of the most challenging yet rewarding projects in her career.
