The Handmaiden is a Korean film set in the 1930s about a girl who is sent to Japan to work for an erotic story teller in a giant Victorian house. Sunny's role on the night of the premiere in Los Angeles was to paint portraits of the guests in a setting evoking the feel of the movie, she says "In the movie the rich girl has an amazing wardrobe, and she has to take these watercolor classes. So the event director called in hair stylists and makeup artists to transform me into the girl from the movie, I spent the night creating live-painting watercolor portraits for the lovely guests. It felt magical!"
