Dream Big

The client California Wines asked Katharine to sketch guests on the back of their A5 promotional material during the event which took place at Westminster College Gardens, London. Katharine was to draw the people from a distance and without them being aware of the activity, she says, “Without exception, the guests appeared both surprised and pleased in equal measure on my presenting them with their individual portrait/ moment in time. It was the best fun I've had in ages.” The sketches took between 6 -10 minutes to create, depending on how soon Katharine felt the 'chosen' guest was likely to exit the area.
