Popped

A delightful packaging project is completed by Luiza Laffitte for Santa Maria chips: World Pops.

Luiza collaborated with Brandon Agency on this commissioned project involving the packaging design for Santa Maria's popped chips, featuring flavours inspired by Mexico and Italy.

Tasked with crafting four floating islands (two Mexican and two Italian), the artworks were also required to incorporate various icons representative of each territory. Luiza's vibrant, confident, and playful creations not only capture the essence of each country but also elevate the product's creativity.

Santa Maria say of their product -

World Pops Mexican Style are deliciously crunchy, light and flavorful black bean corn chips. They have a wonderful taste of cheese with hints of chili and cumin. It's a flavorful combination that transports you directly to Mexico.

World Pops Italian Style are deliciously crunchy, light and flavorful pea and lentil chips. They have a lovely taste of fresh basil and cheese, which adds a perfectly balanced saltiness. It's a flavorful combination that transports you straight to Italy.

The chips are "popped" in hot air and then pressed into thin, light and crispy chips, instead of being deep-fried. Simply put, 100% flavorful chips with 60% less fat compared to regular potato chips. A light snack full of flavor! Irresistibly tasty chips and a slightly better choice on the snack shelf! Also perfect with dips.
