Fleeing Londongrad

A commanding illustration by Bob Venables is used for the cover of a new edition of Spear's.

The piece is inspired by the work of Boris Kustodiev and interpreted by Bob to show an oligarch, with his tattered standard, fleeing ‘Londongrad’.

The cover story questions what it would mean for London if wealthy Russians really did leave the city in their droves, with the writer talking of lawyers, property agents and Anglophile Russians who paint a picture of how the city might change.
