Building the Best You

Juliet Percival creates four delicate artworks for New Era Magazine.

Appearing in the September issue, the illustrations accompany an article on the Five Ways to Build a Happy and Joyful Life by Eric B. Murdock.

Juliet was briefed to incorporate architectural sketches of a Mormon temple in Kirtland, Ohio within her artworks, which serve to visualize the message -  A firm foundation; representing the foundation of the body, Serving Others; a foot in a tennis shoe, the Routine of Prayer and Scripture study; hands in a clasped prayer position, and Surrounding Yourself; a person from behind conveying 'arms' length'.

The overall idea of the article was to compare the building of religious temples to the building of ourselves in character -  spiritually and emotionally.
