Nadia Flower Scribbles

Scribbles is about what fascinates me the most - the simple act of putting pen to paper, especially those first few marks that I have to get down on the nearest piece I can find. It’s where I can turn the irregularities or randomness in my head into something beautiful and interesting. I work with ink and markers - always playing, always creating. Inspiration is everywhere and I try to portray the world as I see it - one big chaotic dreamscape. Nadia Flower was born and raised in New Zealand, and is still based there. She’s loved art and design from the time she first held a crayon. After studying, traveling and working in graphic design and fashion, she decided to become a freelance illustrator – it’s very much a natural development in her career. She has a classic Cassio calculator watch, loves her Birkenstocks and enjoys watching science fiction films. Her favourite city in the world is Tokyo.
