A highly skilled watercolour practitioner, Enya Todd first caught the eye with her cordon bleu illustrations of delicious deserts and sweets. Now her sublime talents are being called on across lifestyle categories, with her smooth brushwork and soft palette evoking a light-hearted ambiance around delectable foods and drinks, gardens and nature, jewellery, décor and more.
Based in Somerset, Enya is originally from Macau, though she has spent much of her career in London. With a background in packaging design, her love of illustration drove her towards painting all the good things in life, stimulating the senses with fresh and invigorating colours, and a perfect balance between accurate detail and artistic flourish.
Clients adore the way you not just see the imagery, but imagine the item’s taste, scent, sound or how it might feel in your hand. From food to fashion, Enya is inspired by the creative geniuses she works with on each new project.
Following her BA in Graphic Design, Enya earned a Masters in Design Management from the London College of Communication in 2011.
Approach
Enya works primarily in watercolour and ink – two flexible media with an expressive, emotive feel to them. Her palette is contemporary, and surface pattern is something she pays a lot of attention to. Her high-quality textured papers add to the handmade aesthetic of her art.Style
