I was commissioned by Listen with Audrey to create illustrations based on Finnish-Swedish author and illustrator Tove Jansson's Summer Book. This piece is a still life and a sort of "Momento Mori" of important objects in the novel.

Tilda Rose is a Finnish-American illustrator who is based in Helsinki. Creating her artworks by hand using natural media such as gouache, acrylics and watercolors, her imagery has a wonderfully imaginative folksy, tactile and spontaneous feel to it.
