I was asked by the Finnish Union of Health and Social Services to create a hopeful illustration about work exhaustion and how it can be remedied. I came up with the idea of a person, emerging from a dark cave with a smile on her face and being greeted by cheerful flowers, butterflies and vibrant leaves.

About Tilda
Tilda Rose is a Finnish-American illustrator who is based in Helsinki. Creating her artworks by hand using natural media such as gouache, acrylics and watercolors, her imagery has a wonderfully imaginative folksy, tactile and spontaneous feel to it. You can sense the passion of the artist behind it, and a strong desire to create.
