The Eid Moon

Inspired by Islamic architecture, syrupy dates, and self-care bathing rituals, the Eid gift ideas are presented in a design that incorporates elements from Ayang's striking scarf illustration. This illustration features rich, dark, and tropical hues that perfectly capture the essence of the occasion.

Ayang herself notes that the Islamic tradition places great emphasis on the sighting of the moon, with the new moon marking the end of the month-long fast of Ramadan and the arrival of Shawwal. However, since the moon is sighted earlier in some parts of the world, religious occasions like Ramadan and Eid are observed at different times in different countries.
