Stories of Women

Published by Alma Books in Spain, Iratxe López de Munáin illustrates an inspiring series of women's stories.

The stories span centuries of resilience, empowerment and a tireless struggle to secure women's rights, told by figures including Mary Shelley and Edith Warton, and lesser well-known authors such as María de Zayas and Alice Dunbar-Nelson.

Iratxe's black and white illustrations give the stories their historical setting and bring the narrative to life, in a book that brings these women together because of their courage and strength to speak up in times when it was almost impossible for a woman to develop her creative abilities.
