Olympe, Mauvaise Graine

Rohan Eason creates a front cover illustration for STOCK editeur Depuis 1708 - one of the oldest publishing houses in France.

The commission was a treat for Rohan and an honour to be part of a publishing house with such a fantastic reputation, and a long list of books.

Rohan explains, "The story is about a wayward girl who befriends a man/treeman, the reader isn’t sure which, and it remains in the mind of the reader to know. Every book is this same format, with a dark blue wrap around, and the image cut across the bottom of the book...it's lovely to see my work in this unique design aesthetic."
