Room With A View

Depicting a quarantine life in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Room with a View is symbolic of hope. The window is an eye peeping out into the world whilst we have limited exposure to it, and shows the figure waiting for the blossom to appear, evoking love and peace. The magazine talks about how, in history, windows have always been used both in architecture and Art, acting as our door or connection to the rest of the world. The illustration has also become part of the permanent archive of American Illustration 39.
