Jacob was commissioned for an editorial illustration to complement an article on the rise of new hotels near major college campuses, designed to accommodate visiting families and prospective students. Study Hotels, have emerged to fill the gap between generic chain accommodations and more bespoke experiences, offering parents a comfortable and stylish base when touring campuses with their children.

The artwork playfully captures the intersection of university culture and hospitality, with refined service subtly contrasted against the social traditions of student life. The impromptu game of beer pong adds a touch of humour to the idea that these hotels are adapting to their surroundings.
