Cat Oracle

Tuluz specialises in tarot decks, oracles, and other mystical products and commissioned Carolina to illustrate "El Oráculo de los Gatos Místicos" (The Oracle of Mystical Cats), a beautifully crafted oracle honouring their charm and wisdom.

Drawing inspiration from her own cat, Cosmo, Carolina depicted cats in ordinary scenarios, capturing their natural essence, she adds, "I worked thinking about the everyday life of cats, and that's why they are portrayed in such mundane spaces and situations. The naturalness of it was an important aspect for this project...Cosmo has been by my side for 7 years, he travels with me and we've collected many experiences together, that's how I learned about cats' behavior and why I am fascinated by them. Animals are an enormous inspiration, I find them easy to draw and I love doing so. This was a beautiful project. We also created an illustrated bandana for the reading of the oracle and a fabric bag to keep the cards in." 

Verónica Garcia says - "An oracle is a tool for communication with our intuition with the Universe. El Oráculo de los Gatos Místicos (or, in free translation, The Oracle of Mystical Cats) is an oracle to honor the beauty and mystique of cats; wonderful, magical, fun beings and companions that we “witches” love so much. Like every animal and being of this divine creation, cats have their wisdom and talents and it is at these points that I was inspired to channel the messages of this oracle."
