'An Idea Arrived’ Illustration

Sue Gent was thrilled to be asked by Popshot Magzine to illustrate the poem ‘An Idea Arrived’ by the Poet Laureate Simon Armitage for their current issue. Sue hand-drew the illustration in brush and ink, and then colored it digitally. In her illustration, she wanted to suggest the sense of nostalgia and confusion, but also hope, that she felt the poem conveyed.
