Watercolor drawing of The University of Durham Botanic Gardens

Botanic Gardens

The University of Durham Botanic Gardens celebrate their 50th Anniversary with commissioned art by Juliet Percival.

The 'Friends of the Garden' group funded the project which involved Juliet providing souvenir artworks for the popular gardens. Green and rich in information, the two artworks consist of a map, what to see and illustrations depicting the changing seasons, both of which will be printed large scale for display at the entrance. Juliet adds, "It’s a bit sad, as of course the Gardens have closed for the moment, but it's hoped that when they reopen later in the year, it will be complete with these souvenir artworks."
