The Barclaycard Arena

Tim Bradford draws a flowing line illustration for the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany.

Tim's brief was to make a continuous line illustration for a partition wall in the offices of the Barclaycard Arena and to incorporate lots of things Hamburgian as well as anything relevant to the stadium. With art direction by Valerie Puginier of Avantgarde, the flowing piece is a mammoth design linking music, architecture, landmarks and sport. The city's people are knitted in to the drawing resulting in an active illustration; busy yet balanced.
