Decue's piece can be seen in the June issue and accompanies an article on 'gun waiting-period legislation' now being considered in Congress. The move follows research conducted by two HBS professors who decided to see if they could use their skills to examine gun violence in America, and after seven years the research suggests that if a waiting period of three business days for handgun sales was introduced, gun homicides would fall and more than 900 lives a year could be saved.
