Bingley Bongley: Characters for children's story

Bingley Bongley

Sholto Walker develops the character and illustrates the children's story Bingley Bongley.

Written by Ian Harvey, the book uses an imaginary friend concept where the reader is left wondering whether the creature is infact real or not. It follows the story of a small boy and a little monster who cause mess and mayhem everywhere they go, Sholto continues, "The boy is desperate to convince his mum the disasters are nothing to do with him...it’s a nice idea, well-written and constructed. Ian is a former cartoon animator so he had a good vision for what he wanted and a great ability to describe the situations he was asking me to illustrate." Buy the book here.
