O'Farrell's Northumberland

Dunstanburgh Castle

Alnwick

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne

Liam O'Farrell returns from a successful painting trip to Northumberland.

After a few days painting, Liam has recorded his essence of the county in North East England. He travelled from Lindisfarne; one of the earliest sites for Christianity in the UK now with its fisherman's sheds made from upturned herring boats, to Dunstanburgh castle; painting a wonderful view of the ruins dating back to the 14th century and to historic Alnwick now known as the home of Harry Potter.  Liam's enthusiastic interest in people, their banter, culture, the architecture and natural surroundings, means you may find him sat on his stool sketching, in a town near you!
