Growing up in South Wales, Hannah Davies is happiest near the sea and still lives in the region. During a textiles course in Swansea, she discovered illustration and it has become her passion. As well as being a fantastic decorative illustrator working in advertising, fashion and editorial, she also makes a range of items using her textiles skills. She loves warm weather, walking her dog on the beach, and playing boules.

Pattern designs and hand drawn elements are combined in Hannah’s work to create something new and unique. She works by layering together her own textile patterns, coloured papers, watercolors and ink drawings. She’s also fascinated by microscopic patterns and the extraordinary level of detail that its possible to display.Style
Her style is fine, decorative, dreamy and full of whimsical detail. Eastern influences, nature and complex hand-drawn line work are all characteristics of her illustrations. She’s happy working at almost any scale and loves seeing her imagery applied in different ways, from posters to garments to billboards.Awards
