Tea With Elephants

Commissioned by HarperCollins Brasil, under the Thomas Nelson label, Camila was asked to create the full cover artwork for the Brazilian edition of Tea with Elephants, translated as Chá com Elefantes.

This marks the first book in the Suitcase Sisters series, known in Portuguese as Amigas pelo Mundo, by bestselling author Robin Jones Gunn. Camila’s cover design beautifully captures the novel’s spirit of adventure, friendship, and self-discovery, with warm, earthy tones and nostalgic travel elements that reflect the protagonists’ life-changing journey through Africa.

From charming safari motifs to vintage-inspired details like postage stamps and travel cases, her illustration immerses readers in the story’s setting - a land of rolling tea fields, towering baobabs, and playful elephants.
