Liam was thrilled to receive a commission to paint Postman’s Park, a hidden gem in the City of London that had intrigued him for years.
Known for its tranquil atmosphere, the park has a rich history as a former graveyard and features St Botolph’s Aldersgate, a church with origins in the 15th century and later restorations. It’s also home to the Watts Memorial, honouring everyday heroes who lost their lives saving others.
After presenting sketches to the client, the chosen composition was completed in Liam’s studio using on-site drawings and reference photos. He now enjoys visiting this peaceful retreat whenever he’s in the City.
