Old Kent Road Bridge Art

Season of Victory makes bright mural illustrations for a permanent art installation on Old Kent Road Railway Bridge in London.

Season of Victory's vibrant mural transforms a public space into a celebration of community and culture.

Commissioned by Lawless Studio and Southwark Council as part of a regeneration initiative, the artwork draws inspiration from fruit sticker aesthetics to illustrate local landmarks such as La Placita Mall and the Livesey Exchange.

Informed by workshops with schoolchildren and residents, the design blends bold colours, playful lettering, and elements of the community’s identity, echoing the “Home from Home” theme developed by Peter Hudson, Yinka Danmole and Halina Edwards.

The mural stands as a striking, permanent landmark that uplifts and unites the area.
