This free annual guide, produced by the influential children's literature charity, showcases the best books of 2024 by Irish-born and Irish-based authors and illustrators.

 

It features reviews of 100 books suitable for readers aged 0-18, along with 100 more "read also" recommendations, highlighting the wealth of talent in the country. The guide, accompanied by posters and stickers in both English and Gaelic, will be distributed to subscribers and libraries across Ireland.

 

Donough felt it was an honour to contribute, following in the footsteps of previous illustrators such as Oliver Jeffers, Chris Haughton, and PJ Lynch.
