The Catavento Museum, an interactive science and technology museum run by the São Paulo State Department of Culture, Economy and Creative Industry, has been inspiring curiosity and spreading scientific knowledge to visitors of all ages since its opening in March 2009. As part of its mission to engage the public in accessible ways, the museum commissioned artist Manu Cunhas to create a memory game deck.
Titled 'Women Scientists: Revealing Brilliant Minds', the game celebrates the often overlooked contributions of women to scientific research and development. Each pair of cards features a profile of a female scientist alongside information about her field of expertise. This initiative will be integrated into the museum’s exhibitions and activities, showcasing the vital role women have played, and continue to play, in advancing science. According to Manu, the project aims to reflect the growing global recognition of women's achievements in the face of historical challenges.
