Domaine Les Dryades

Zimmermann Communications commissioned Becca to create two linocut label illustrations for the 2023 vintages from the organic Swiss vineyard Domaine Les Dryades, released earlier this month.

 

Becca explains, "Vintner Andrés Bélard works with agro-ecology and resilient viticulture, where everything revolves around the natural cycle to support biodiversity and a healthy ecosystem. He puts nature back in charge, and wanted the label illustrations to convey that. The white labels show the supportive wildlife and plants of the vineyard, from vetches and butterflies to beetles and earthworms. The red labels show a dryad - a tree spirit and the vineyard's namesake."
