Devfest Nantes

Embracing a film-geek theme, Luiza Laffitte provides the artwork for 2023's Devfest Nantes event.

DevFests are local tech conferences hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDG) around the world. Each event is meticulously curated by its local organisers to align with the preferences and interests of the local developer community.

As a valued collaborator with Devfest Nantes, Luiza has consistently excelled in crafting art tailored to each year's event. Luiza explains, "Each year I have a different theme to work on. From Rock'n'Roll to Space, any geek theme is possible. All the sponsors also play the game and decorate their booths to match the theme. This year, 2023, the theme is "films". I worked with elements from movies that are loved by geeks, like ET, Ghostbusters, Star Trek, Jurassic Park, etc. We also put a lot of geek easter eggs on the designs. It's a really fun event."
