Le Coeur A Ses Raisins

Laura Greenan's latest label for Avant-Garde adds a creative twist to a French idiom.

Le Coeur A Ses Raisins is a light, refreshing, tarte, fruity ale brewed with concord grape juice.

Laura explains, "The name is a play on words with the French expression "Le coeur a ses raisons" (the heart has its reasons), except now ‘the heart has its raisins’. ‘Raisins’ being grapes in French! The typography and general vibe of the design had to convey plumpness and juiciness, so the I created the name using very rounded and soft typography, and filled the space at the edges with lots of hearts and juicy grapes."
