STEP Journal commission Jonathan Allardyce for a cover artwork illustrating their feature on Philanthropy and Charity.

The artwork shows a gallery wall of paintings gifted to museums via the Arts Council of England's Acceptance in Lieu scheme.

Drawn with Jonathan's clear and figurative style the pieces featured include, Emperor Muhammad Shah Hunting Crane with Hawks, attributed to Chitarman II, c.1725-30, Portrait of a Girl by Isaack Luttichuys, David Lloyd-George’s Birthplace, Manchester by LS Lowry RA, and Drawing of a Black Hole by Steven Hawkings.
