Wonder Drug

Studio Hosego work with the Financial Times Weekend Magazine to create a series of impressive artworks exploring the history of miracle cures for obesity.

Set against a backdrop of the Gustave Dore bible illustrations, Studio Hosego produced five artworks for a feature titled The Obesity Cure.

Published in the FT Weekend Magazine earlier this month, their brief was to depict the narrative of a new 'wonder' drug said to end obesity while using the iconic and angelic biblical illustrations as a reference. Chris of Studio Hosego adds, "This new drug promises to turn the obesity epidemic on its head with stunning results. But like most things, it's not without its critics. We went all out for this one, creating a cover, opener, and 3 full-page illustrations in less than 7 days."
