Hindu Wedding

Fionna Fernandes creates five joyous illustrations for a couple's Hindu wedding.

Couple Tess & Ashwin commissioned Fionna for artworks to decorate their Hindu wedding program, symbolising key stages of their ceremony and creating a bespoke piece of stationery as a keepsake for the memorable event.

The illustrations include a portrait of the couple , a coconut broken in two (symbolising Madhu-Parka), flower garlands (representing Mangalashtak), a Mangalsutra necklace (signifying Mangalsutra Bandhan), and a knot tied between a sari and shawl with fire behind the knot (symbolising Laja-Hom).
