The art trail is underway and takes place until September this year, where over 50 Big Hoots and 65 Little Hoots can be found across Ipswich, attracting thousands of visitors.
The trail is a real community event and enables people to contribute to invaluable local services. Funds are raised through visitors downloading the trail app, and purchasing merchandise as well as an auction of all owls at the end of the trail.
Linda of Season of Victory tells us about the trail, "St Elizabeth Hospice and Wild in Art produced the trail for Ipswich to raise valuable, much-needed funds for St Elizabeth Hospice services providing care and support for those living with life-limiting or progressive illnesses. My sculpture sponsor Coes, then used my matching sculpture illustrations to decorate their shop windows for the Summer. The project fee for the window displays has been donated to St Elizabeth Hospice."
