The Quarantine Atlas

With beautiful illustrations by Jennifer Maravillas-Bell, a new book from Bloomberg CityLab charts the less visible changes of a global pandemic.

During the pandemic, Bloomberg CityLab asked readers to create a map of how Covid-19 had reshaped their lives, and with over 600 maps sent in from people all over the globe, The Quarantine Atlas has been published. The book is a remarkable piece of history featuring sixty-five homemade maps alongside eight original essays by celebrated writers.

Jennifer's art is both moving and exquisite, charting narratives such as the 'Frontline of Change', 'A Tiny Newborn World' and 'A Place For All The Grief To Go.

The book is a chance to reflect on just how much has changed — and how much still needs to change — since this virus turned life upside down more than two years ago
