Sophie Won't Sleep

Tatsiana Burgaud illustrates a delightful new book for young readers, written by Australian author Danielle Camer.

The tale is set in a Costa-Rican jungle full of animals and hidden dangers and centres around a young sloth who won't go to bed, but would rather have adventures in the night. Written for 3-6 year olds, the book is educational as well as entertaining with numbers and animals to spot, as well as teacher's notes for schooling.

Tatsiana says of the project, "Danielle was a very helpful and comprehensive person to work with - she guided me through the story and at the same time she gave me freedom to bring my vision to it - this is how the small friend of Sophie is born - a little white bunny. I absolutely loved working on it - it is my first published book so it was a very challenging but fantastic experience."
