Atmospheric feast scene painting for Old Spice

Old Spice Witcher Scents

With an epic illustration by The Bob Venables, Old Spice launch new scents to coincide with the release of The Witcher on Netflix.

Working with Wieden + Kennedy in the US, Bob's task was to create an atmospheric feast scene used as a stage to promote Old Spice's limited line of six deodorants that take inspiration after the show. Three smell good, and three smell awful.

Bob explains, "The Brief was to illustrate these scents into detailed renaissance/baroque still life oil paintings that speak both to their good/bad ingredients and includes references from the show in a fun and unexpected way. Witcher fans now have a chance to “Smelleth Like The Show Thou Love” with Old Spice Witcher Scents, but with the 1200s being a time when Old Spice didn’t exist, these smells range widely from good to absolutely wretched."
