A Wedding in Paris

The glamorous event took place at Pavillon Dauphine Saint Clair, an ornate 1913 building very close to the Champs Elyseés with beautiful gardens.

Jacqueline was asked to paint the guests in five minutes as full length portraits to show and record their fine outfits, and worked on four other pieces back in her studio of the bride and couples, she adds, "This was the first overseas event this year so it was great to return to Paris... The laws have fortunately eased now so I believe the next trip will be easier but it’s great to be back drawing live- I’ve missed it so much these past 18 months!"
