Women Behind the Wine

Using her masterly drawing talent, Lauren has produced four illustrations for the feature which talks about attracting more women into the spirits, wine or hospitality industry. The article tracks the story of Yordanos Gebru, one of 2019’s scholarship winners, originally from the city of Bahir Dar in Ethiopia. The scholarship helped her to finish a master’s degree in Vineyard and Winery Management and go on to complete a six-month internship at two different wineries in Virginia. Read more here.
