Joy in NYC

Showing from 11th-27th November, Mayuko's solo exhibition 'Joy' explores the simplicity of sexual freedom.  Mayuko explains further -

It’s part of our nature to be sexual beings. And yet too much unnecessary baggage is loaded with sex. It’s where many dark emotions manifest themselves in many different forms: trauma, anger, fear, pain, insecurity, and so on. Too often it is subject to oppression and exploitation. This new series is about simple sexual joy, unloading all such baggage. This exhibition is the first time showing my latest hand-cut and acrylic-painted stencil works."
