The Harriet Tubman Stamp

Dena Cooper is interviewed by Channel 12 News about her creation of a Harriet Tubman $20 Bill stamp.

With the news from The Whitehouse that the Harriet Tubman $20 bills will be delayed until 2026, Dena decided to take the matter into her own hands and create a portrait of the abolitionist and political activist in order to stamp the bills herself. The news channel visited Dena in her studio to talk about the campaign and also Dena's aspirations to work on more projects celebrating the achievements of women. See the clip here.
