A Window for Chinese New Year

The window of the Rowley Gallery in London is illuminated by Christopher Corr's themed art.

The Rowley Gallery on Kensington Church Street in Notting Hill exhibits contemporary art and prints and benefits from a glorious location in London. To celebrate Chinese New Year, Christopher was asked by the gallery to draw zodiac animals from The Great Race; a book by Christopher Corr and published by Frances Lincoln. in 2018. The book tells the story of the Chinese Zodiac - "Long ago in very ancient China, there were no years or days or hours…To find a way of measuring time, the Jade Emperor held a Great Race. Which twelve animals were the first to cross the river and have a year named after them..."  Read more on the gallery blog here.
