Atlas of Design

Mike Hall's detailed map of Spain is chosen to appear in the prestigious Atlas of Design

Mike's design for a decorative map of Spain has been selected for inclusion in the fourth volume of the Atlas of Design, published by the North American Cartographic Information Society (NACIS).

The Atlas of Design is dedicated to showing off some of the world’s most beautiful and intriguing cartographic design. Every two years, they publish a new volume of full-color maps, selected from a worldwide competition and judged by an expert panel.

Entry was open to cartographers and designers worldwide and the editors selected 32 from over 300 entries. Considering other designs featured in the book include those by professional cartographers at the New York Times, National Geographic and ESRI, it’s therefore a great honor to be selected!
