Kindness Patrol

Using Heather's ageless illustrations of children Dick and Jane, the article in the pursuits section of the magazine discusses how society is becoming less kind and asks how we may have got to such a low point in expressing kindness. Dr. Carla Fry and Dr. Lisa Ferrari created 'Kindness Patrol'; an experiment where children performed random acts of kindness to strangers,  the reaction they got was unexpected, a rejection of the gifts out of fear of mistrust.
