‘Claire Rollet’s Cities of the World’ takes us on a colouring-in journey to 12 cities from Rio to Tokyo via Marrakech, La Havana, New York and more. Claire says, "I worked hard at presenting each city from a fresh view rather than the obvious angles we are all too familiar with. I focused on the feel and idiosyncrasies of each city to inspire my drawings and these can now go on inspiring many people to fill them with life and color. The second book ‘Claire Rollet’s London’ explores 12 locations of distinct atmosphere around London. Get your pens out and color the peaceful Hyde Park, the majestic Royal Albert Hall, the vibrant Portobello market and many more. The drawings are printed on large detachable card (27x35cm). This beautiful paper stock is great to use as it won’t let colours seep through like so many other books! For each drawing a description of the atmosphere of the city and area gives life to the line drawings. I worked with great editors Kieran Hood whose vision did not wither at any point through the project and Isobel Boston who helped me write up the lively descriptions of the drawings."
