The High Line

Iratxe López de Munáin illustrates for New York's 'Friends of the High Line' Magazine.

The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. The walkway offers views and culture including the Meatpacking District, 10th Avenue, the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty, water features, art videos and overall an urban landscape intermittently shrouded by tree canopies. Iratxe's illustrations highlight key landmarks on a guide to help walkers spot and name various iconic buildings on the route. More information here.
