An Unseen Collection

Hannah Davies creates a body of personal pieces exploring the 'untouched parts of the world'.

Exploring untouched parts of the world' by Hannah Davies designs
Image 1Taking an opportunity between commissions to play with her technique, Hannah has started a collection of decorative patterns which explore the unseen. She says "I am exploring underwater life, the depths of the ocean, the untouched parts of the world as well as plants, coral and insects that aren't seen by the eye. It's like finding treasure; natural treasure. I love exploring the microscopic shapes and the neon colours found in deep dark places... (I am) hoping to explore rock forms, shells and deep sea creatures." Hannah's experiments are wonderful artworks, all created with watercolour and paper cut-outs.
