The Rich List

Illustrating icons such as Adele, Lewis Hamilton and Rory McIlroy as well as big names in business, Paul's ability at mixing traditional pencil skills with graphic shapes and colour have worked wonderfully for this commission with the newspaper. Illustrating The Rich List is a project to aspire to for most portrait illustrators and one which Paul has enjoyed immensely. He says "Being given the opportunity to illustrate this year’s Rich List for The Sunday Times is similar to winning the lottery for an illustrator! The magazine's art direction decided to spread my illustrations throughout the weekend supplement across several full pages so my portraits have real impact...I was also asked to include elements which relate to each of their particular money making endeavours whilst also introducing a pop of colour."
